EngagePoint Assist - Streamlining the multi-program application process

EngagePoint Assist is a modular portal that guides citizens through the application process so that applications are produced quickly and accurately—without a lot of work on the backend. It solves two of the biggest application challenges states face today: delivering benefits quickly to those in need while ensuring user data is correct to reduce fraud.

Assisted application

As consumers spend more time purchasing products and services online, e-commerce has turned to technology solutions that simplify web transactions. But for state agencies, application processing tends to remain paper-based and arduous, requiring a lot of time and effort by both the applicant and the program.

EngagePoint Assist brings the ease of e-commerce to state agencies, empowering users to create and submit an application in as little as 90 seconds. The portal:

  • Provides ID assurance. It quickly confirms applicants are who they say they are, which helps reduce fraud.
  • Connects to external data sources. It knows what information is pertinent for the application based on the user’s identity (for example, age and gender) and prepopulates the application for faster processing.
  • Saves user information. The portal can be used across multiple programs to reduce the user’s efforts and accelerate the application process.
  • Is modular. It was designed to plug in quickly and integrate with other products that are already in place or will be added in the future.

EngagePoint Eligibility - Driving multi-program eligibility engines

It’s relatively easy to integrate an eligibility engine for a program. But making all of your program’s eligibility engines work together is a monumental challenge.

EngagePoint Eligibility provides the support structure your state needs to connect legacy and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) eligibility engines so you can implement multi-program eligibility while maintaining specific rule sets for each program. The product delivers a complete view of eligibility at the individual and household levels.

The product uses cascading eligibility: It is iterative, circling back around to make sure programs aren’t missed as eligibility is determined. It is configurable and features an easy-to-use graphical interface that lets your non-technical policy administrators manage the rules. Most importantly, it’s modular, so it was designed to plug in quickly and integrate with other products that are already in place or will be added in the future.

EngagePoint Enroll - Easy enrollment from beginning to end—and back again

EngagePoint Enroll is a web and mobile application that handles the entire enrollment process from initialization to execution, and every step in between. With one click, citizens can choose a benefits package, and the product automatically enrolls them in all of the relevant underlying programs. EngagePoint Enroll also acts as a life events hub to manage any life changes a user experiences.

Multiple programs, one-click enrollment

Managing enrollments in a multi-program environment is extremely challenging. EngagePoint Enroll helps you promote cross-agency interaction. Its powerful analytics helps you optimize enrollment in your programs, while its system of record capability assures the integrity of the enrollments.

The product also acts as a life events hub. It processes life events and figures out how the changes affect the user’s enrollment across multiple programs. EngagePoint Enroll prevents users from having to return to the application process and ensures the user’s life events are processed accurately across all systems.

EngagePoint Financials - Simplified transaction and payment processing across programs

EngagePoint Financials is a multi-program financial transaction and payment processing system that allows you to perform bookkeeping at program, agency, stakeholder, citizen, and household levels. The product also lets you collect and disburse payments.

Dual-entry accounting for accurate bookkeeping

EngagePoint Financials uses a dual-accounting system that was designed to meet the unique challenges states face in a multi-program environment. It clearly charts the movement of money so you know where it is and where it’s headed at all times.

The product also helps recover benefits that should not have been paid. It works closely with enrollment programs, such as EngagePoint Enroll, to identify what benefits should be recovered because of a citizen’s expulsion from a program.

EngagePoint Financials is UX2014- and Section 508-compliant. It provides:

  • Bill generation and delivery that creates consolidated individual, family, or employer bills and delivers them by web portal, email, or U.S. mail.
  • Payment processing of full or partial payments made by any medium of exchange, including cash, credit card, check, and e-check.
  • Payment disbursement that is reconciled for accuracy through double-entry account and auditing.
  • Authorization to provide a high level of security for transactions and payments.
  • Reporting to generate standard and ad-hoc reports through web-based data queries and other reporting tools.

Reducing the degree of separation to one

Traditionally reconciliation has been linear: A reconciles with B, who reconciles with C, and so on. EngagePoint Reconcile makes the reconciliation of people, processes, and money comprehensive, so A can reconcile with C as easily as with B.

EngagePoint Reconcile was designed to figure out where something went wrong and why. It helps you:

  • Resolve the identity conflicts of one person participating in multiple programs.
  • Match records between the state and carriers.
